Mass Spectrometry of Biological Fluids
Sansepolcro, IT, 52037
Bios-Therapy, Physiological Systems for Health SpA operates in the research and development of new molecular complexes obtained from natural substances by means of biotechnological processes, for the health of man, animals and plants, studying and selecting natural raw materials and all production processes from seed to finished product; specific systems composed of RNA and DNA are particularly researched and validated for their rebalancing activity in living organisms. The fields of application of the substances obtained, both single and mixed, are mainly aimed at degenerative, metabolic and oncological diseases.
We offer a placement opportunity in Bios-Therapy, Physiological Systems for Health SpA for a Scientist.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform complex untargeted and targeted experiments to study and analyse the effect of natural substances on specific cellular and molecular processes. The mass spectrometry analyst will be responsible for sample preparation and processing, including extraction, purification and other pre-analytical treatments starting from celi lysates or human blood, following established or to be established protocols in order to perform routine, extra routine and complex analytical assays using mass spectrometry techniques {LC-qToF, LC-QQQ) to identify, quantify and analyse compounds in various matrices. Knowledge of spectroscopic techniques such as NIR, FTIR and RAMAN is a plus.
This position involves working within a laboratory setting to support research, quality control, and regulatory compliance. The goal is to deepen the understanding of underlying biological mechanisms and cellular responses, creating a solid foundation for the development of new therapeutic applications
